Are you licensed and insured?
Yes. AltaVista Painting Pro carries general liability and workers’ compensation, and proof goes out with every estimate. We are BBB Accredited (A+), a Sherwin-Williams Certified Applicator and a PCA member.
How do you price a job?
We measure every surface in person and give you one fixed written price. No hourly billing, no “starting at,” no change orders unless you add scope.
What paint do you use?
Sherwin-Williams Emerald, Duration and Cashmere plus Benjamin Moore premium lines — matched to the surface and exposure and listed on your estimate.
How far in advance should I book?
Interiors usually start within 1–2 weeks. Exteriors book 3–6 weeks out in spring and summer. Pre-listing and time-sensitive jobs get priority scheduling — just tell us the date.
Do I need to be home?
For exteriors, no — we just need access. For interiors most homeowners are home or arrange access; either works. You get a walkthrough on day one and a final walkthrough before we leave.
Do you move furniture?
Yes. We move and cover furniture, protect floors and put everything back at the end of each day.
What is your warranty?
A 3-year written workmanship warranty on every project. If our work peels, blisters or flakes because of application, we fix it at no labor cost.
Is the color consultation free?
Yes, with every painting estimate. We sample colors on your walls in your light before we commit.
Do you offer financing?
Yes — monthly payment options are available through our financing partner. Ask when you request your estimate.
Do you work with HOAs and property managers?
Yes. Board-ready proposals, insurance certificates, phased schedules and photo documentation for community and commercial projects.
Do you handle drywall, wallpaper and popcorn ceilings?
Yes — drywall repair, Level 5 skim coats, wallpaper removal and popcorn ceiling removal are all done by the same crew that paints.
